Biography

Chris was born in Germany. He went to New York in 1983 to attend the Lee Strasberg Institute and in 1984 joined the University of Hawaii where he was trained by Glenn Cannon and had his first stage appearance in 1985 in “The World of Suzie Wong” directed by Mr. Cannon and right afterwards appeared in “The Madwoman of Paris.

He moved back to Germany in 1987 and worked as a leading actor in several German TV series, but not for long. He then went to New Zealand and Australia for more stage work.

In 2010 Chris was in the Gemini Award wining film “Storming Juno” and in 2018-19 had a part in the US series Counterpart.

2023, Chris captivated audiences as Simon, one of the featured actors in the horror-comedy film Die Neue Härte, directed by Aaron J.J. Schmidt. The following year,( 2024) he took on a daring role in the HBO Max Polish TV series Lady Love, helmed by Oscar-nominated director Bartosz Konopka, where he portrayed Herr Schneider, a cunning conman posing as a porn producer.
